Farmwork to Feed Canada (F2FC) is collaborating with the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association (CCA) to get the word out about issues in agriculture related to the pandemic, food safety, and food security. Formed in April 2020, F2FC is a volunteer, not-for-profit effort by communications, public relations, and marketing professionals, and students and new grads in these fields.
The volunteers come from across Canada. In addition, we have partnership agreements with 15 organizations involved in agriculture or the agri-food business, ranging from national groups such as the Canadian Centre for Food Integrity and Food Banks Canada to provincial groups such as the BC Agricultural Council We Heart Local and the Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers Association. with whom we exchange information and ideas to engage and support Canadians on key issues like farm to plate, labour shortages, food safety, and security.
