Guardians of the Grasslands was publicly launched via a live virtual event on May 4, 2021. Sarah Wray, half of the team at Story Brokers Media House which produced the film, hosted the screening. Panelists included Karla Guyn of Ducks Unlimited Canada, Catherine Grenier of the Nature Conservancy of Canada, Ben Campbell of Grazed Right ranch in Alberta and Steve Lee of the United Nations special group for children and youth.
