On November 18, 2021, Canada's Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, Marie-Claude Bibeau, joined beef industry leaders on a ranch tour near Olds, AB.
Jill and Cole Harvie hosted the Minister along with Canadian Cattlemen's Association President, Bob Lowe, Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Beef Chair, Anne Wasko, and Beef Cattle Research Council Vice Chair, Craig Lehr, to highlight the importance of innovation, sustainability and research to beef farmers and ranchers.
The tour was the first opportunity after the Minister’s re-appointment to her role to visit a ranch. We look forward to continuing to build the positive relationship as we advocate our federal advocacy priorities.
